"Pay to Cum" was the debut single from the band Bad Brains, self-released in June 1980 on the band's Bad Brain Records. The single was recorded in New York City by Jimi Quidd at his Dots Studios. This reissue marks the first release in the remaster campaign on the band's own Bad Brains Records imprint with Org Music. In coordination with the band, Org Music has overseen the restoration and remastering of the iconic Bad Brains' recordings. The audio was mastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering and pressed at Furnace Record Pressing. The release includes a replication of the original fold-out insert.

In the words of Watt: here's three tunes I wrote for the Minutemen thirty five years ago that never got released (hell, one never even got played live and the other two only a tiny bit), I recorded them very recently w/guys I regularly play w/but never together in this configuration which was bob lee's idea and hence the name of the proj. The three song EP were released on 7" vinyl, exclusively for Black Friday Record Store Day 2016. Half of the pressing was on light blue color vinyl, with the other half on standard black vinyl.

Clear blue vinyl. Louis Armstrong and his All-Stars are captured in rare form during this live recording from 1956, which is finally making its vinyl debut with this 180gram Pallas pressing. The album features a great collection o f tunes which had become staples of Armstrong's live shows, including his perennial opener, "Indiana"; the crowd favorite, "Tiger Rag"; the always joyful, "When The Saints Go Marching In"; and the great title-track, "Basin Street Blues". Satch's frontline band at the time boasted the very distinctive sounds of trombonist Trummy Young and clarinetist Ed Hall.

Aqua-swirl vinyl. 2 long tracks recorded by the Art Ensemble in Paris during June of 1969. This was a tremendously productive time for the group, and it shows in the tracks "The Ninth Room" and "Tthinitthedalen". They run through a gamut of instruments, a wild range of sounds, yet never manage to lose their focus. Great stuff, with a lot of fire, and none of the weak moments that bogged them down later.

It was recorded at the Paradiso Theater in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 1987 by the VPRO. The show was part of the band's I Against I tour. It remains one of the group's best selling albums. The album captures Bad Brains in concert at the height of their commercial and critical peak, featuring a diverse mix of hardcore punk, mellow reggae, funk, and heavy metal. Two of the reggae tracks are cover songs: Dennis Brown's "Revolution," and a rearranged medley of the Rolling Stones's "She's a Rainbow" and The Beatles's "Day Tripper." The New York Times wrote that the album is a "virtual greatest-hits collection, played with blistering intensity and engineered with its muscle intact."

Dot Hacker's genesis comes from when Klinghoffer and bandmate Clint Walsh were touring as part of Gnarls Barkley back in 2006. Two more seasoned musicians, Eric Gardner and Jonathan Hischke soon rounded up the lineup and the band was formed in 2007. Klinghoffer's schedule became substantially busier upon joining the Red Hot Chili Peppers as a full-time member in 2009, though Dot Hacker eventually found time to release its debut "Inhibition" in 2012. "How's Your Process? (Play)" marks the second of the bands two-part sophomore effort. It was mastered by Grammy Award winner Bernie Grundman.

The Edge of Forever is a chamber opera in five scenes, with 38 minutes of music scored for a single tenor singer, a chorus of four female voices, and an eclectic ensemble comprised of two conch shell trumpets, woodwinds, strings, various standard and non-traditional percussion, and features eight sine tone oscillators played through a mixing board. The musical influences for The Edge of Forever include the avant-garde New Music tradition, ancient music and tuning systems, sound healing practices of the Californian New Age movement, and Spiritual/Free jazz from the 1960s and 1970s. The release is the second collaboration between composer Lewis Pesacov and librettist Elizabeth Cline. The recording will be in a limited edition series of 500 vinyl records. Included is a booklet insert with synopsis, libretto, photo documentation, and text by the librettist, composer and The Industry's Artistic Director Yuval Sharon. Distribution has moved from ADA to Cobraside.

Amidst the backdrop of a global pandemic, political unrest, and wildfires raging across the western United States, Josh Klinghoffer hunkered down and found the inspiration to complete the sophomore album for his latest project, Pluralone. The release, aptly titled "I Don't Feel Well," comes on the heels of Pluralone's critically acclaimed debut album, "To Be One With You." In some ways, "I Don't Feel Well" seems like a natural progression of the Pluralone project, just as dynamic and fluid in it's arrangements, but more focused in it's execution. Similar to "To Be One With You," Klinghoffer leans heavily on piano and keyboards for the foundation of most songs, with some outliers such as the anthemic guitar-heavy track, 'Mother Nature.' The album weaves sparse rhythmic moments with grandiose arrangements of strings and layered vocals, showcasing Klinghoffer's impressive range and signature falsetto. By all accounts, "I Don't Feel Well" is a reflection of the trying times we find ourselves in; often dark and reflective, but with a glimmer of hope and underlying themes of solidarity, something we could use a bit more of these days.

Atenao!: Novos Sons do Brasil" (Attention! New Sounds of Brazil) is a compilation produced in collaboration between online audio journal Aquarium Drunkard and Org Music. This is not your typical Brazilian music compilation. These ten songs capture a new wave of musicians who are reinterpreting their country's musical heritage in bold and divergent ways, generations removed from the familiar sounds of breezy bossas or psychedelic tropicalia. While these songs don't sound like bozza nova or Tropicalia, they share the tradition of cultural collision, mashing styles from abroad and home indisciminately, tearing down genre barriers. The release features the artwork of celebrated visual artist Robbie Simon, and includes an inserrt with extensive liner notes by Brazillian music scholar Allen Thayer.

Though Bad Brains had recorded the 16 song Black Dots album in 1979 and the 5-song Omega Sessions EP in 1980, the ROIR cassette was the band's first release of anything longer than a single. Adam Green and Kimya Dawson originally crossed paths at an open mic night in Mount Kisco, New York in the early 90s. From there they went on to record a surplus of home recordings with various friends under the moniker The Moldy Peaches, and eventually became staples in the NYC anti-folk scene of the late 90s/ early 2000s. After releasing several albums that gained traction in the U.S. and UK, the group broke into the mainstream when their song "Anyone Else But You" appeared in the hit indie film "Juno" (2007). Origin Story: 1994-1999 is a collection of songs, unreleased demos, live tracks, and poems from the early years of The Moldy Peaches, and outline the tale of how the band came to be. Liner notes written by Adam and Kimya detail the stories behind each track and rare photos included in the packaging help to illustrate the life and times of the duo when they were young.

The Youth Are Getting Restless is a live album from hardcore punk and reggae pioneers Bad Brains. It was recorded at the Paradiso Theater in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 1987 by the VPRO. The show was part of the band's I Against I tour. It remains one of the group's best selling albums. The album captures Bad Brains in concert at the height of their commercial and critical peak, featuring a diverse mix of hardcore punk, mellow reggae, funk, and heavy metal. Two of the reggae tracks are cover songs: Dennis Brown's "Revolution," and a rearranged medley of the Rolling Stones's "She's a Rainbow" and The Beatles's "Day Tripper." The New York Times wrote that the album is a "virtual greatest-hits collection, played with blistering intensity and engineered with its muscle intact."

Amidst the backdrop of a global pandemic, political unrest, and wildfires raging across the western United States, Josh Klinghoffer hunkered down and found the inspiration to complete the sophomore album for his latest project, Pluralone. The release, aptly titled "I Don't Feel Well," comes on the heels of Pluralone's critically acclaimed debut album, "To Be One With You." In some ways, "I Don't Feel Well" seems like a natural progression of the Pluralone project, just as dynamic and fluid in it's arrangements, but more focused in it's execution. Similar to "To Be One With You," Klinghoffer leans heavily on piano and keyboards for the foundation of most songs, with some outliers such as the anthemic guitar-heavy track, 'Mother Nature.' The album weaves sparse rhythmic moments with grandiose arrangements of strings and layered vocals, showcasing Klinghoffer's impressive range and signature falsetto. By all accounts, "I Don't Feel Well" is a reflection of the trying times we find ourselves in; often dark and reflective, but with a glimmer of hope and underlying themes of solidarity, something we could use a bit more of these days.

Pluralone (pronounced "plural one") is the new project from multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Josh Klinghoffer. While Klinghoffer is best known for his current role as guitarist in the Red Hot Chili Peppers, he has played and recorded with a variety of acts, including PJ Harvey, Beck, and Gnarls Barkley, as well as fronting the group Dot Hacker. Pluralone's debut album, To Be One With You, is largely a solo effort on Klinghoffer's part, although it features performances by frequent collaborators such as Flea (RHCP), Jack Irons, Eric Avery (Jane's Addiction), and fellow Dot Hacker members, Eric Gardner and Clint Walsh. On the heels of a seven inch release with two foreign language covers, the new album showcases ten brand new, original tracks.
