hardcore punk band from Los Angeles, California. They have been playing
basements, garages, living rooms, squats, warehouses, banquet halls,

furniture factories, and public park gazebos since the winter of 2005.
In their decade of existence, they have booked their own tours across
the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and
Southeast Asia. After self-releasing two critically-acclaimed LPs and
two EPs on their own Vitriol Records, they are now pushing their third
LP, The Bend in the Break, out into the world via Topshelf Records. It

DE LA SOUL - BUHLOONE MINDSTATE
The group's third
studio release, Buhloone Mindstate released on September 21, 1993, saw
the group evolve into a new sound as they continued to grow
stylistically and musically. There were several moments on the album
which proved the band had matured. "I Be Blowin'" was a departure as
the track was an instrumental featuring saxophone playing by Maceo
Parker. The introspective "I Am I Be" showed de la Soul at their most
self-referential to date. "Long Island Wildin'" was a collaboration
with Japanese hip hop artists Kan Takagi (Major Force) and trio Scha
Dara Parr (SDP). The album's first single, "Breakadawn", used a sample
of Michael Jackson's "I Can't Help It" and Smokey Robinson's "Quiet
Storm". de La Soul collaborated for the first time with Gang Starr's
Guru on "Patti Dooke", and female MC Shortie No Mas who was prominent
on many tracks on the album and showcased particularly on "In The
Woods". The album ended with an old school Biz Markie collaboration
called "Stone Age".

the 4th studio album by de la Soul, released on July 2, 1996. Stakes is
High was critically lauded for it's music, lyricism, and it's overall
message concerning the artistic
decline rap music began to face in the mid-90s. The title track and
first single was produced by J Dilla and the album's second single,
"Itzsoweezee (HOT)", with only Dave on vocals, was accompanied by a
creative music video. The album spawned a third single "4 More",
featuring Zhane. The album did provide a launching pad for future star
rappers and actors Mos Def, who appeared on the track "Big Brother
Beat" and Common who is featured on "The Bizness"

For Senjutsu -
loosely translated as 'tactics & strategy', the band once again
enlisted the services of Mark Wilkinson to create the spectacular
Samurai themed cover artwork, based on an idea by Steve Harris. And
with a running time of a little under 82 minutes, Senjutsu, like their
previous record The Book Of Souls, will be a double CD album/triple
vinyl album.
Steve says "We chose to record at Guillaume Tell Studio in France again
as the place has such a relaxed vibe. The setup there is perfect for
our needs; the building used to be a cinema and has a really high
ceiling so there's a great acoustic sound. We recorded this album in
the same way we did The Book Of Souls in that we'd write a song,
rehearse it and then put it down together straight away while it was
all fresh in our minds. There's some very complex songs on this album
which took a lot of hard work to get them exactly as we wanted them to
sound, so the process was at times very challenging, but Kevin is great
at capturing the essence of the band and I think it was worth the
effort! I'm very proud of the result and can't wait for fans to hear
it."
Bruce Dickinson continues, "We're all really excited about this album.
We recorded it back in early 2019 during a break in the Legacy tour so
we could maximize our touring yet still have a long set up period
before release to prepare great album art and something special as a
video. Of course the pandemic delayed things more - so much for the
best laid plans - or should that be 'strategies'!? The songs are very
varied, and some of them are quite long. There's also one or two songs
which sound pretty different to our usual style, and I think Maiden
fans will be surprised - in a good way, I hope!"

The Tortured Poets Department (also shortened to Tortured Poets) is the
upcoming eleventh studio album by the American singer-songwriter Taylor
Swift. Shortly after finishing work on Midnights, Swift conceived The
Tortured Poets Department and developed it during the Eras Tour
(2023-2024). She described the album as her "lifeline" record, a
product of imperative songwriting. It consists of sixteen songs,
featuring collaborations with the American rapper Post Malone features
on "Fortnight" and the English indie rock band Florence and the Machine
on "Florida!!!". Each of the four physical versions of the album
include one additional bonus track.
