J. Prozac/space Age Zeros
The Space Age Zeros are a Chicago-based punk rock band combining catchy melodies, power-pop influences, and heartfelt songwriting. Signed to Mystic Records, the band's debut album Strange New World was produced by Dan Precision (88 Fingers Louie, Rise Against) and showcases their blend of energetic punk rock and memorable hooks. Influenced by bands such as Naked Raygun, Screeching Weasel, Material Issue, and Cheap Trick, Space Age Zeros have performed at iconic Chicago venues including The Metro, Reggie's, Cobra Lounge, Liars Club, and Cubby Bear while building a loyal following throughout the Midwest. J Prozac comes at you with 2 new songs on this 7" vinyl split! J has been the driving force behind the upbeat, catchy, Massachusetts's Ramones fueled; Lookout Records influenced punk rock band The Prozacs for the last 25 years. With a landslide of releases with indie labels and years of sporadic touring all over the USA and Europe as well as appearing at festivals such as Warped Tour, Insubordination Fest, Puke Fest (Germany), Punk Rock Raduno (Italy) and legendary stages at CBGB, 924 Gilman, Continental NYC and more, he's no stranger to the stage or scene! His new song "Digging Holes" showcases all the hook layden and infectious pop that J is known for in a search for eternal love. Next up is" Chemical Reaction" which is performed mainly acoustic with splashes of electric guitar and bass, expressing the unexplainable bond between two people with the word play and catchiness straight out of the Dr. Frank (The Mr T Experience) playbook!
