Manual Breather
NECKLACE formed in Johannesburg, the city that promised gold. What's left is the dirt of that excavation. To live there entails a love affair with what is broken and corrupted. It is through these contradictions that NECKLACE channels their sound. SUICIDE, STOOGES, and VELVET UNDERGROUND appear to have made their way down to Africa and into that sound.
