SUNBLIND is the latest project from a group of veteran musicians shaped by the Bay Area's tradition of intensity, authenticity, and community. Mixing equal parts traditional New York hardcore and classic thrash metal with an element of grit unique to Bay Area hardcore and punk, SUNBLIND delivers an uncompromising approach that's sonically unique while also appealing to hardcore purists. After spending a year behind closed doors defining their sound, they made their live debut in June 2026 and have established themselves as a new force within Northern California's hardcore scene. Their debut, The Undertow, contains eight tracks of hardcore that balance aggression with purpose, bringing deliberate riffs to the table and a deep connection to the spirit that has fueled their hometown for generations. Plain and simple, The Undertow is a record that's a product of the Bay Area. Featuring current and former members of LOOK BACK AND LAUGH, ALLEGIANCE, LIVING EYES, THE OLD FIRM CASUALS, THE EXPLOSION, and more, SUNBLIND carries forward a legacy of Bay Area hardcore with the conviction and perspective that only years in the underground can provide.
